L’isolation thermique L’ensemble de nos châssis et vérandas est équipé de double ou triple vitrages, conjugués dans de nombreuses déclinaisons. Ces vitrages se caractérisent par des performances thermiques et acoustiques, avec des possibilités différentes de transmissions énergétiques et lumineuses. Une touche esthétique permet de varier l’ensemble, avec des vitrages sablés ou décoratifs, agrémentés de croisillons unicolores ou bicolores. L’isolation thermique d’un vitrage est caractérisée par le coefficient Ug ; plus il est faible, meilleure est la performance thermique. Il représente la quantité de chaleur, exprimée en Watt (W), qui traverse une paroi d’une surface de 1m² lorsque l’écart de température est de 1°K entre l’extérieur et l’intérieur. Le vitrage trouve sa performance réelle dans l’assemblage de 2 ou 3 vitrages revêtus d’une couche de basse émissive, avec adjonction d’un gaz entre elles. Ce gaz de type Argon ou Krypton ainsi que la composition du vitrage (y compris son intercalaire) permettent de déterminer le coefficient de déperdition global. L’intercalaire traditionnellement en aluminium peut être remplacé par un noyau de plus faible conductivité thermique, en Butyle Polymère (TPS) ou en acier inoxydable, afin de réduire encore la déperdition thermique de l’ensemble.

La sécurité L’assemblage de deux vitrages sur un film de sécurité feuilleté PVB assurera la sécurité des personnes et augmentera la résistance à l’intrusion en fonction du nombre de vitrages, de leur épaisseur et du nombre de films de sécurité. Répondant ainsi à la norme S23-002 visant à protéger les utilisateurs, tant à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur. Le confort estival Le vitrage peut également être traité pour assurer une réflexion solaire en empêchant une partie de l’infrarouge de pénétrer dans le bâtiment, assurant ainsi confort estival et économies d’énergies. En toiture des verrières et vérandas, suivant l’inclinaison du vitrage, le rejet sera plus accentué en période estivale, en fonction de la courbure du soleil et de son élévation par rapport à la mauvaise saison, où la chaleur naturelle continuera à pénétrer par les parois vitrées verticales sans protection. Ces performances permettront de mieux répondre à la règlementation énergique PEB1. L’isolation acoustique L’asymétrie des verres composant le vitrage isolant, permet de répondre à un affaiblissement acoustique des bruits ayant des fréquences différentes ; ainsi les basses-fréquences générées par un charroi lourd seront mieux affaiblies par un verre épais, les aigus générés par les voitures par temps pluvieux seront mieux absorbés par un verre de moindre épaisseur. L’effet de masse étant le premier critère d’absorption, la qualité du châssis devra accompagner le vitrage car en isolation acoustique, c’est le maillon le plus faible qui déterminera toujours le résultat final !
